South facing sunny sands are the order of the day at Aberffraw. The quiet village is nestled between rolling farmland and the sea.

Did you know?

Aberffraw is a small village on the beautiful south-west coast of Anglesey. Visitors love its glorious stretch of beach with mountain views, and the rare orchids that flower in its dunes. The village has a fascinating history including a Bronze Age burial chamber and 7th century church. It was once the seat of Welsh princes, and the remains of the medieval royal court are said to lie beneath the village. It’s also home to the Aberffraw biscuit - a scallop shaped shortbread which is reputed to be the oldest biscuit recipe in Britain. You can learn more about Anglesey here.
