What a glorious house in the most breathtaking location! Set in nine acres of wonderful grounds, Pen Y Parc has stunning sea and mountain views. This fabulous, contemporary house has interesting furniture and is wonderfully welcoming and relaxing - what more could you ask for!We love the space of the magnificent entrance hall with the beautifully crafted staircase and gallery. It is a fabulous room for relaxing over long lunches or dinner with friends and family.
Cooking will be an absolute pleasure in the well equipped kitchen/breakfast room, as will eating breakfast around the table. There is a range cooker with two ovens, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and a Bose music system - bliss!
The sitting room has deep comfy sofas and chairs and magnificent views. A full length wall of glass doors leads to the conservatory - again with individual, interesting furniture - and round the corner to the dining room where you can soak up the views. Downstairs there is a loo and shower with wash hand basin and a second cloakroom.
Upstairs the spacious gallery landing takes you to four bedrooms: a double bedroom; a twin bedroom with comfy trundle beds so could sleep four; and a bunk bedroom. The master bedroom with double bed has an en-suite shower room with loo and basin and French windows which open onto the balcony. Also upstairs is the family bathroom with double ended bath, loo, basin and separate shower.

Wow what a super place - lovely setting and views, a beautiful garden to look out on. The house is just wonderful - spacious, comfortable, everything you need -well stocked kitchen -was an ideal place for the family to get together to celebrate Mum's 80th birthday. We have just spent 10 days at 1 Pen y Parc. Myself(62) my mother (87) and my aunt (80).
It was 10 days of sheer luxury, the house and furnishings are amazing. The gardens and grounds are absolute paradise.
Our thanks to the owners for renting it out; the gardener for his sterling work, endless information and general friendship;
the cleaner for leaving the house immaculate for our arrival and Menai Cottages for their help with the booking.
Our first visit but we hope to return again this year.

This place is amazing!! we stayed in October and yes the typical British Weather wasn't brilliant but it was such a relaxing holiday made a nice change to the usual mayhem holiday abroad!!! 1 Pen y Parc is such a beautiful home and 8 of us stayed there and it didn't feel cramped at all and as 8 people went down to 6 it felt empty!
