This traditional 18th Century cottage nestles in a quiet lane just
around the corner from the pretty seaside front at Beaumaris, which has
the most fabulous views of the Menai Strait with the dramatic backdrop
of the mountains of Snowdonia.
Beaumaris offers everything, whether you are staying for a week or taking a short break. The unfinished
castle, started in 1295, is the last and largest of King Edward I's
fortifications. The town boasts a great choice of pubs, cafes, restaurants (and a really
good fish and chip shop!), excellent visitor attractions, delightful
individual shops and galleries.
This pretty cottage is a great place to stay at any time of the year, well equipped, warm and welcoming.
The
cosy beamed sitting room has an open fireplace, comfy sofas, TV with
DVD. Dining table and chairs to one end overlook the pretty whitewashed
courtyard - a great suntrap. The second sitting room with a wood burning
stove and CD player is great for young people to chill in.
The kitchen
is fitted with electric cooker, washing machine and separate dryer,
fridge with freezer compartment and microwave door opening on to courtyard with
garden seats.
Upstairs are three bedrooms: one twin, one double and a single bedroom with a cot.
Bathroom with loo, bath with electric shower over and wash hand basin.
