Accommodation Details
This delightful white stone cottage is tucked up on a hillside commanding the most breathtaking views of the sea and coastline. Bettyn is a lovely blend of traditional and contemporary, comfortable and very well equipped and you will have a completely relaxing holiday soaking up the stunning views afforded from every room. Close by is a marvellous Nature Reserve of scientific interest (with panoramic views over Snowdonia and the coast), beaches and lots of scenic walks. Nearby Beaumaris has some good restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops, the moated castle, boat trips to Puffin Island and a golf course, so there is plenty to do.
Step into the bright welcoming sitting room with sofas and coffee table grouped around the cosy inglenook fireplace, which heats the radiators; TV, Freeview, DVD, video player and lots of CDs. Side door looks onto the pretty patio. Step down to the dining area by the window with spotting scope, bookcase with plentiful books, DVDs, videos and board games. Go through to the kitchen, which is equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and 'wow' views from the kitchen sink! Unwind with a drink before dinner and enjoy the photographic studio overlooking the kitchen garden. (Please help yourself to produce.)
The bathroom is downstairs with bath and shower over, loo and wash handbasin. Up the tiny steep, open staircase to two lovely bedrooms, one double and one twin. Welcome trays and toiletries are provided in both.
Outside, Bettyn is surrounded by a very pretty enclosed cottage garden with cascading pond. There is a seated barbecue area, table and chairs and chimnea for 'al fresco' dining, lawns and a profusion of flowers in hanging baskets and pots, and of course the wonderful views!
This little cottage is something completely different where you can relax in comfort, winter or summer, and return home with your batteries charged.
