Bronallt is in an ideal location between the splendid mountains of Snowdonia and the sea. The village of Y Felinheli sits on the edge of the Menai Strait, which separates Anglesey from the mainland and you will find a small grocery store and Post Office and good places to eat, try the Garddfon on the sea front or you may prefer to relax at home -Barbara, who owns Bronallt and is one of the Menai Holidays team, is the cook behind the delicious and highly rated Cottage Suppers (see the menu on the website). Barbara or husband, Geraint, who farms the surrounding land, will deliver a delicious cooked meal to the cottage ready to heat and eat!Bronallt is a home sweet home and has a great following of repeat visitors, which is testament to this bright sparkling, welcoming and comfy holiday cottage and range from young families who love the safe, enclosed garden with plenty of room for ball games to those who appreciate one level living, so great if you have a wobbly knee or hip.
The sitting room has comfy sofas and chairs set around the gas flame effect fire, TV, DVD and Freeview, plenty of books and games. You will notice the paintings, a present from a happy customer!! Round the corner to the dining room which looks over the well tended garden and patio to the field. The cheerful brightly painted kitchen is where you will find a welcoming tea tray on your arrival and it is very well equipped with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, this is a kitchen which is equipped by a cook!
Three bedrooms, all furnished and presented to Barbara's high standard - two double rooms and a twin bedroom, all with a pleasant rural outlook.
From May 2011 Shower Room with shower, wash hand basin and WC.
The garden is neatly mown with pretty borders and interesting shrubs offering a variety of colour all year round and the patio has cheery pots of geraniums. There is plenty of hanging space for outdoor gear in the garage, which also couples as storage for canoes, bicycles or kayaks.

This is our third stay at this cottage which we find so convenient for the mountains,cycling and Anglesey. It is quiet, relaxing and Barbara makes you feel very welcome. The cottage now has a super new shower room and much improved drive for parking making it even more perfect. Can also recommend Cottage Suppers the food is terrific. Elaine Daniels
