Accommodation Details
Bryn Dedwydd is a blissful little cottage in the middle of everywhere on this beautiful peninsula!
Betwixt and between Nefyn, Pwllheli, Abersoch, Aberdaron and Snowdonia. There is so much to see and do, stunning coastal walks, cycle paths, mountains, hills, history, castles, Barsdey Island, buzzing Abersoch, surfing at Hell's Mouth coupled with excellent local produce from the farms, gardens plus sea, white sandy beaches, pretty coves, villages that are bright and clean and shops that still display their vegetables outside, galleries and interesting individual shops.
Bryn Dedwydd has been restored and renovated as a holiday cottage with great care. The owners have thought of everything that you would need for a relaxing break. They are passionate about the area and to share their wealth of local knowledge with visitors to the area. Each room has locally made soap, the welcome bag is full of local produce including eggs from the local smallholding - a delight!
A welcoming bright open plan living room, the original staircase makes a natural divide between the sitting room and the kitchen dining area, the wood burning stove set into the inglenook fireplace is snug on winter evenings, TV with DVD and CD player. The shaker style kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave and fridge with ice compartment, dining table and benches to one end. Upstairs to three pretty bedrooms, two double rooms and a single bedroom. Bathroom with a proper bath! and shower over, wash hand basin and loo.
Outside there is a deep freeze and washing machine, cycle shed with hanging rail for bikes, and plenty of space hanging walking or cycling gear.
Small pretty garden, a real sun trap, with garden table and chairs.

We have just returned from a really wonderful week in a part of Wales we had not visited before.
Bryn Dedwydd was a very cosy and homely cottage and although it is a "new" holiday cottage there was nothing lacking at all. We received a very warm welcome and given the benefit of local knowledge from the owner regarding the best places to eat and visit, the newly opened Spice Bank in Cricieth a great success.
I took my bike and the area is ideal for country lane cycling and the cottage's cycle lockup was the ideal place to leave the bike securely.
Thanks again for a lovely time, definitely on the list for a return visit. Pete Smith & family
