Bryn Eira is just outside Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyndrobwllantysiliogogogoch, or Llanfair PG to those who have to say it everyday! The village is home to the Marquess of Anglesey's column which is well worth a visit, the views from the top are spectacular. Nearby there are two pubs serving food, a good bakery, a gallery and many shops. Beaches, mountains and excellent tourist attractions are all close by.This is a fantastic family house. There is so much space here and I love the feel of this traditional farmhouse. It is comfortable, spacious and unique in that it is the only cottage on our books with an indoor swimming pool. You will create fond and happy memories at this house as it is the perfect destination for a family!
The large country kitchen is very well equipped. It includes a large fridge/freezer, a double oven and a breakfast bar, so even the messiest cook certainly won't run out of space in here! The Aga, although not used for cooking, is great for that extra bit of heat. Leading through from the kitchen is the dining room, a fabulous room with windows on all sides and space to seat all guests comfortably, ideal for a dinner party! There is also a cloakroom and a utility room where the washing machine is located.
The sitting room is large and yet cosy, with an open fire to enjoy, plenty of comfy seats and there is a TV with freeview in here as well as a CD player. Leading through from the sitting room is a small snug, the perfect little place to sit and read a book in quiet surroundings!
You will find a lovely double bedroom also on the ground floor. This is a particularly useful arrangement for those with creaking limbs who don't particularly wish to climb up and down stairs to bed. Upstairs there is the large master bedroom which has plenty of wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom. Furthermore there are two twin bedrooms with built in wardrobes and a double bedroom. The spacious family bathroom has a walk in shower, a roll top bath, basin and loo.
Outside the house the grounds are well kept and there is plenty to explore, with woodlands beyond the house. You will also find a tennis court here and a 10 meter by 3 meter heated indoor pool with a shower room and cloakroom. There is also a huge games room adjoining the pool which has a pool table and large TV. The kids will LOVE this house! Leading on from the double doors at one end of the swimming pool is a patio area with plenty of seating and a custom built BBQ!
Altogether it is possible for guests to book Bryn Eira, The Stables, The Tack Room and The Milking Parlour. These combine to sleep a total of 24 and would make a great place for a special occasion.
