Accommodation Details

This dear little cottage down a very pretty, quiet lane transports you to a bygone era where people have time to say hello to you and horses clip clop past. The peace and tranquility will mesmerise you. The Blue Flag beach at Benllech is just down the road and further along the coast you have lots of pretty coves and bays. There are good restaurants close by in Moelfre and Red Wharf Bay, and for golfers Storws Wen golf course and restaurant are just down the road.

The owners have put so much effort in to making the cottage welcoming. The sun pours into the sitting room, comfy sofas and chairs are set around the wood burning stove (which is nice on chilly autumn and winter evenings, though not really needed with the central heating) and there is a TV with Freeview, DVD and CD player. Next, a large family kitchen and dining room: the kitchen half is well equipped with microwave, electric cooker, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine and dryer and a tiny dishwasher just enough for four, whilst the dining table and chairs are at one end.

There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, a bathroom with bath and shower over, loo, wash hand basin, separate loo and basin in the cloakroom.

Plenty of hanging space in the porch for coats and boots.

Outside is a small, well tended garden to the front of the house and from the kitchen is another sitting area with table and chairs - ideal for evening meals in the summer and a useful outside tap for cleaning sandy feet!

We had a lovely time here at Easter 2011, lovely cottage down a quiet country road and only 5 mins drive to beach, town etc. did bbq most evenings and sat outside, would recommend to family for nice relaxing holiday, and owners are very nice and helpful too Davies

Very nice cottage. About 3-4 minutes drive or about 20 minutes walk(with a pram) to the beach. Very tidy and nice garden. mark tipping

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at this cottage and we only have praise for it. A week wasn't long enough, we really did not want to come home. The cottage has everything you could think of, I always take everything with me 'just in case' but it just wasn't needed here as the ownwers had already thought of it. It's a credit to them - a real little gem.

The only thing we would say is that it is a bit further away from the beach than just down the road. It's about a 6-7 minute drive away not far I know but we thought we could walk to it from the description! Dave, Nicola & Phoebe Kelly
