Accommodation Details

Bwthyn Deunawd is one of two cottages adjoining this fine stone built farmhouse which dates back to the 16th century. Part of a working farm, this cottage can be booked individually or together with Braich Y Saint Bach next door, ideal for friends and family to holiday together and not wanting to be in each others pockets!

The views of this beautiful coastline with the backdrop of the mountains is quite breathtaking as you approach the cottages. Just 4 miles away from Criccieth, a pretty seaside village with beautiful beaches and the castle serving good food using fresh local produce, interesting individual shops, Idris Cafe is the best bread shop for miles with wonderful chocolate eclairs and delicious bread which is all you need to compliment a lobster or crab from the greengrocer and fishmonger! Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, Kerfoots, a unique department store where you will receive an old fashioned welcome and feel as though you have stepped back in time: Be amazed by its self supporting spiral staircase - the only staircase of its kind in the U.K!

The views from the conservatory are of green pastureland giving way to the hills and mountains, a lovely room to relax in the warmth of the sun, with TV, DVD & comfy sofas. Through to a traditional open plan kitchen, dining sitting room, with slate flooring throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with 4 ring electric hob, a traditional AGA cooker, fridge freezer, microwave & washing machine. The sitting room has TV with freeview, leather sofas. The bathroom is downstairs, with shower, wash hand basin and loo. Up the wooden staircase to 2 bedrooms, one double room with double bed and a single too! and a twin bedroom.

Outside, garden furniture, there is plenty of space for the children to play safely, whilst you sit enjoying the views from the garden, which is not enclosed.
