This lovely, coastal-themed holiday home is tastefully decorated and furnished with pale, muted, relaxing colours and sits overlooking a pretty village green in the popular seaside village of Borth y Gest. Bwthyn Y Mor is within walking distance of several beautiful sandy coves leading to the glorious and well known Black Rock Sands.Borth y Gest, with its pretty bay, is a great location from which to visit Snowdonia, Portmeirion and the Welsh Highland Railway. Visitors to this beautiful village return time and time again. Borth y Gest has a popular restaurant and teashop, both with stunning views, and somewhere to buy your morning paper and milk. After just a two minute drive or a ten minute walk you will find yourself in Porthmadog, which has a great selection of shops, restaurants, bars and a supermarket to stock up on your holiday essentials! From here you can hop on the Welsh Highland Railway to explore the sights and sounds of the beautiful scenery, or for something a little different, go Llama Trekking in Morfa Bychan!

Lovely relaxing holiday with good friends. Beautiful house, 5* quality. Don't want to go home! Gill, Ian & Ollie
This is a great cottage in a great setting, with lots to do on the doorstep.
The cottage is really nicely done up - it is obvious the owners had a lot of fun theme-ing the cottage and it shows. With the french windows opening onto a patio, then onto a "village green" it would be a great place for kids. Kitchen was really good - not that we used it a lot! WiFi very useful.
Really reccomend both the cottage and the location. Les Ireland
What a fabulous holiday cottage in a wonderful location and with such helpful owners!
The cottage is tastefully decorated with a seaside theme throughout and is exceptionally well equipped for any family holiday. The owners have thought of everything - maps, guidebooks, games, information folder - all of which we really appreciated.
Borth Y Gest itself is lovely with spectacular views to the mountains of Snowdonia and a 10 minute walk either into the bustling Porthmadog or along the coastal path to delightful beaches.
We really didn't want to leave and hope to be back again soon. Jill Bastow
