Can Y Gwynt nestles in this pretty row of cottages overlooking Red Wharf Bay - soak up the view, watch the tide come in, boats riding the gentle waves on their moorings and enjoy the sound of their lanyards clinking on the masts and the odd seagull,  just the place to unwind and relax.  You probably will not want to move but if you do you can walk and join the Anglesey Coastal Path from the front door or a short drive will take you to the Blue Flag beach at  Benllech and the pretty lifeboat village of Moelfre or cross the bridge and go over to Llanberis and Snowdonia -  there is so much to do.

A fabulous really fun house with a mediterranean feel, I love the carefully chosen furniture with bright cheerful fabrics, mixing old and new, you will see in the snug dining room, a scrubbed pine table, stripey sofa interesting lights, tiled floors, french windows opening on to the garden, so you can eat out in on cooler nights or light the fire and relax chatting about the days events over dinner. A fun, happy kitchen with lots of pretty bits and bobs, equipped with oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, CD player and a little round table for coffee and a chat, cloakroom with loo and basin and utility area with washing machine and drier and a second fridge, pretty courtyard with pots of flowers and table and chairs. Upstairs to the sitting room which has a marvellous view, comfy sofas and chairs, flat screen TV with DVD electric fire. Three pretty bedrooms; two double bedrooms, both with brass beds, (one of these is downstairs) and a fun bunk bedroom. A glorious bathroom with jacuzzi bath, loo and wash hand basin, fun tiles and great curtains.

So enjoyed this cottage," does exactly what it says on the tin" so to speak, caught between a lovely fish restaurant and a fab pub, and the housekeeper kept our logs stocked up for the fresh evenings in front of the fire watching the fantastic views over the bay. A fantastic house in a fantastic location. Beautiful views over Red Wharf Bay, especially from the upstairs lounge. The decor is befitting a house sitting right on the bay - an ecclectic mix of old & new with nautical touches everywhere. Good for people watching from the front. And spitting distance from the great beer at The Ship Inn and fantastic food at The Boathouse restaurant. Returning again this year with our 2 young children, who love their bunkbed room and waking up the sound of the boats in the bay. Claire Evans
