Cefn Cwmwd Cottages is an outstanding location for anyone wishing to explore all that Anglesey has to offer. Centrally located and only 15 minutes in any direction to the coast, Eilio is perfect for those enjoying a more active holiday or even those who are unsure which part of the island to stay.The bustling market town of Llangefni is just a short car journey away and has all the amenities you would expect - supermarkets, pubs and restaurants as well as an abundance of shops.
Eilio is the largest of the cottages at Cefn Cwmwd, thick soft curtains, wood flooring and oak farmhouse doors point to the same high quality finish that is prevalent through all the cottages but this house is blessed with so much space and is ideal for the family! There is a very large sitting room which enjoys spectacular views over Anglesey and across to the Snowdonia mountain range. There is a large 'L' shaped sofa as comfortable as it is stylish and a large flatscreen TV and DVD player.
The kitchen and dining area are open plan and the kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. There is an electric cooker and hob, a microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. The shaker kitchen is striking and modern with oak floors and mosaic travertine tiling. To the other end of the kitchen there is a dining table which has seating for six people. On the ground floor is a cloakroom which has a basin and a loo.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, two generous twins offering great flexibility and comfort and a fantastic, spacious master bedroom with an ensuite. The view from this room are one of my favourites on the whole island. Its hard to beat waking up on a sunny morning, flinging the curtains open and being faced with a clear view of the entire Snowdonia mountain range. This view changes with the seasons but my favourite is on a crisp winter morning when the peaks are covered in snow, magical! Also on this floor is a family bathroom with a Bath and shower overhead, loo and a basin.
Cefn Cwmwd cottages not only encompasses what is now expected of a stylish, high quality cottage but it is in the most ideal location to explore our beautiful and geographically diverse island.
