This most enchanting romantic cottage, sitting next to the splendid Menai Suspension Bridge, separating Anglesey from the mainland, has wonderful views of the Menai Strait and the Bridge.
Sharon, a local artist has used her flair mixing pretty fabrics with interesting furniture coupled with Stuart's glorious balcony they have created a delightful hide away. Sitting room with exposed beams, restored original wood floors, quaint windows and comfy seating set around the Victorian gas flame fire.
A fabulous kitchen/dining room with French doors opening on to the balcony, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Cloak room has a loo, wash hand basin and washing machine.
Downstairs, the main bathroom has a small bath with full headroom at shower end of the bath which lends itself to relaxing candle lit bathing, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Double bedroom with pretty bay window looking out to the Menai Strait and Bridge. The second bedroom has a single bed with a trundle bed underneath which can be adapted to either a twin or a double and with access to its own shower room with loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Outside is a further balcony, viewing deck and pretty garden all commanding the most fantastic views.
This romantic cottage combines privacy and exclusion minutes from all the required amenities to make it the ideal retreat. Pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets are all within walking distance.
We stayed at the lodge for a week in mid October for my husbands 40th Bday. The lodge is superb,comfortable relaxing and extremely clean. The extra touches show that the owners care about their visitors eg wine and flowers on arrival, handwash, basic kitchen items tea towels etc even poo bags for the dog! The location is wonderful and you can spend time in the gardens watching the straits day and night due to lighting being available . Even in October the garden had many flowers to enjoy. The surrounding area has many walks cross the bridge to Menai ( very pretty)woods and botanical gardensand even if you do not wish to use a car u can get buses too many places close to the doorstep! Ceris lodge is a little treasure so tastefully decorated and filled with thought for those staying there. B Sweetman

We stayed here at the beginning of July, what a lovely property, quaint and cosy, lovely views, tidy and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in on holiday. Although very close to the road it was surprisingly quiet. The only downside was not being able to use our laptop and the TV reception could have been better. Saying that we would stay here agin if in the area. tracy baines
Ceris Lodge is an absolutely beautiful place to stay, the views over Menay Strait are extraordinary and the cottage with its two terraces gives you every opportunity to enjoy them.
Inside the cottage every detail has been attended to, the kitchen is fabulous and it is very convenient that both bedrooms have their own bathroom. We stayed there for two weeks and had a couple of friends living with us for the first week. There was plenty of room for the four of us.
On sight the cottage looks quite near the road, but it is actually very quiet.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously and cannot wait to be back next year.

We returned from our weeks holiday in Ceris Lodge on Saturday and wanted you to know how much we enjoyed it. The lodge is delightfully situated with fine views over the Menai Bridge. The accommodation is very comfortable and attractive with plenty of room for 3 adults (some of us not perhaps as young as we were). Very well equipped and furnished. We would certainly recommend it to anyone and will certainly consider booking with you guys in the future.

We enjoyed everything about this cottage, it's layout, facilities,location,closeness to Bangor. The garden is interesting in design. The only thing we would have liked to see is the garden enclosed to prevent a dog getting out although we were pleased a dog was allowed. David Taylor
