A fantastic cottage, set in a calm and peaceful location with superb sea views down the Menai Strait and over to the mountains of Snowdonia.
A second delightful cottage (Moel Y Don page) is in close proximity with private access to the rear. This could be ideal for two families or friends wanting to holiday together but who enjoy their own space.Nicki's interior design flair coupled with Tom's use of traditional materials, such as the unusual slate balustrade, beamed ceiling, warm solid oak floor and the pretty gothic windows frame the wonderful views.
Open plan living area the bright white kitchen to one end is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dining table and chairs with glass topped table separate the kitchen area from the sitting room which has comfy sofas, TV with DVD and CD player. Downstairs to two bedrooms, one twin bedded room and one double room. Bathroom with loo, bath with shower over and wash hand basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.
Outside is a wonderful decked terrace with breathtaking views, relax with a drink and watch the boats sail out to sea!! Bliss
The fabulous beach and nature reserve Llanddwyn is a short drive and in the other direction you have the glorious mountains of Snowdonia and if you stroll down to the waters edge you can enjoy a rib ride - you will have to book first what more could you ask for!!
Plenty of space for bike or canoe storage.
Nicki will provide cooked meals to the cottage (extra cost).
Beautiful and romantic New Year 2010 short break (without the kids - bliss!) A stones throw from the strait with fanastic walks and plenty to do - Left to our own devices - which we prefer - clean tidy, jealous that the other cottage had a log burner - would have put the icing on the cake - would go again - again without the kids - this is our space!
