A carefully restored farm building retaining much of its character including its name Chellow, after one of its long gone previous bovine inhabitants! Refurbished to a very high standard to provide bright contemporary warm accommodation in a splendid location with views over open fields to the Menai Strait and across to Caernarfon Castle, which when flood light in the evenings with the back drop of Snowdon and the twinkling lights of the hill side villages is stunning.
Chellow Cottage sits between the owner's farmhouse and Tan Twr Farm Cottage, which is also let (see page 57 of the brochure) whilst close to one another, privacy is of paramount importance. Occasionally the farmer will move stock but on the whole you will hardly know you are on a farm other than being surrounded by fields full of stock so dogs must be on leads if you use the nearby coastal footpath.
A splendid spacious bright open plan living room with wooden beams and rafters, wooden flooring with rugs, multi-fuel stove, comfy seating, TV and DVD. The dining area is to one end of this super room just before you enter the well-equipped kitchen area, which is neatly separated, but part of the living room, so you can enjoy chatting whilst preparing meals. Electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Three double bedrooms - two to one side of the living room and one to the other. One double with ensuite shower room with spacious shower, loo and wash hand basin, this room has a king size bed and the most lovely views, two further rooms one twin and one double sharing a bathroom with separate shower, bath, loo and wash hand basin.
A very useful airing cupboard and drying room in the hall. There is a laundry room shared between Tan Twr and Chellow Cottage with aditional freezer and storage area.
Sun terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue.

Chellow Cottage is a lovley, welcoming home-from-home. The thoughtful owners have provided eveything you could need from good quality bedding and towels to a selection of board games. We had a very warm welcome on arrival from Hilary.
The location is lovely with stunning views over farmland to the Menai Straits and Caernarfon Castle from the cottage's patio. Will definitely return to this lovely place.
Delicious meals from Cottage Suppers were delivered to oir cottage in person by Barbara and were excellent quality and value for money.
The service from everyone at Menai Holidays was also great. Thanks.
