Accommodation Details

Cosy barn is a wonderful cottage. Just ten minutes from picturesque Newborough beach, this house is blessed with stunning countryside views framed by the dramatic Snowdonia mountain range. The house is part of a contemporary development of farm buildings split into nine houses. Cosy Barn is our favourite! The views from all the bedrooms are superb and the house is very well laid out with such attention to detail. The owners had a great deal of input into the house when it was being built and their style really shows. Well proportioned rooms and such a tasteful mix of the old and new. The colours and fabrics in this house all add to the warmth and cosiness.

As soon as you come through the door of your cottage, you will immediately feel at home and welcome. The kitchen is splendidly well equipped and offers so much for any chef to prepare a meal for his guests! The living space is open plan and very sociable. The dining area and kitchen is one big room and makes a great spot to eat, drink and chat. Down a small step and you enter into the sitting room. This is sumptuously furnished so just sink into the comfy chairs in front of the fire and watch the dramatic, ever changing views....or the TV! There are French doors that open out on to the enclosed and well tended, south facing garden outside. There is a patio outside with a table and chairs to sit at and have a glass of wine in the sunshine, as well as a lawned area. Through from the main sitting area is another comfortable room, an ideal spot to read a book in slightly more private surroundings.

To the other end of the house and you will find the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom is up a few steps and has magnificent views, there is also an en suite shower room. The slightly smaller twin room is located on the same hallway as the bathroom. All the rooms of this house are stylish and comfortable. The garden is super and has lovely view providing an excellent backdrop to eating and drinking on the patio area.

We had an absolutely fantastic time here it was so peaceful and relaxing. Plenty to see on the island.The owners property was well designed the interior decor was beautiful.All three of us and the dog had a wonderful time. Well worth another visit. Meryl Shippam
