a single bedroom.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the very well-equipped Ffynnon Wen. Fantastic views of Snowdonia - lovely to look out of the windows and see the summit we had climbed! The open plan living area was perfect - very sociable. Great walks direct from the door - just a short walk takes you to the Vivian Quarry look-out point. Although it only states parking for two cars, we found space for our third vehicle about 100 yards further on - there is plenty of space to park on the gravel at the side of the road. So much to do in close proximity to the chapel - mountain walks, train rides, kayaking, Electric Mountain etc. The cycle path along Lake Padarn was perfect for our 6-year old. Thoroughly recommend stopping at the Pen y Ceunant tearooms on your return from Snowdon's summit - have never enjoyed a bottle of beer (brewed locally from Snowdonia water) quite as much!! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Trevor Lloyd
