Accommodation Details

This house is just a stones throw from the beach - walk out of the front gate, two hops and a skip you are there. A 2 minute walk into the village for shops, pub, windsurfing school and shop Kite surfing school, riding fishing and an 18 hole links golf course. Rhosneigr is renowned as one of the countries best windsurfing bays. The local boating association ensures that everyone enjoys the sea and beaches, with safe swimming areas for children and designated areas for motor boats so that all can enjoy these lovely bays in harmony.

Glan y Don is a three bedroomed semi detached cottage sitting on the edge of the harbour with lovely sea views from many of the rooms, a small terraced area to the front of the cottage catches the afternoon and evening sun and a lovely enclosed patio terrace to the rear of the house giving complete privacy.

Three bedrooms one twin room, one bunk room and one double, bathroom with loo, bath and wash hand basin. An outside shower room is great for rushing into straight from the beach for cleaning sandy feet!! It also has a washing machine.

The sitting room on the first floor has super views across the harbour and out to sea, with open fireplace for winter evenings and comfy three piece suit to sit and relax in after a busy day T.V. and DVD. The dining room downstairs has a hatch through to the kitchen and seating for 6. The kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge.

We enjoyed every minute at the cottage, the views from the upstairs living room are great. The cottage may require some upgrading but I think it is part of the character of an old fishermans cottage and is reflected in the price. Would I recommend it? YES Alan James

This cottage is in a wonderful location, just steps from the beach. It is great for dogs, who will have a wonderful time on the sands.

It is a very basic property that is in need of a bit of love, but it has all the essentials that are needed for a week away.

The beds are comfortable and the views superb. What more do you need??!! Jane, Fudge and Rosie

My family and I have stayed at Glan y Don twice and and have enjoyed our say we have booked again in Oct and April of next year it is a lovely cottage with a lovely feel about it. Our grandchildren had a great time being so near to the beach . freda fill

Fantastic property

The details don't mention a washing machine and when I arrived armed with
tons of clothes I found a machine in the shed outside next to the shower! Katie Mawhinney
