One of seven stone built cottages - winners of the 'Best Self-Catering Establishment of the Year', sponsored by InOut Magazine at the 2011 Anglesey Tourism Awards, standing in an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded with wonderful views of the coastline of this quiet south western corner of Anglesey. The cottages' heat and light is supplied by solar and wind energy, a reed bed system takes away waste water so you can enjoy your holiday knowing you are doing your bit to reduce the carbon footprint - National Cycle Route is at the top of the drive!
Set in 37 acres of private land with two lakes, well marked walks, and masses of wildlife, a ten minute drive to the wonderful safe beach at Llanddwyn and Newborough Forest, which is home to the Anglesey red squirrel colony.
The owners have gone to great lengths to present the cottages to a standard they expect when they go on holiday, and they enjoy their holidays!!
A cheerful, welcoming, open plan living room with sitting, dining and kitchen areas with comfy sofas and chairs, flat screen TV and DVD, dining table and chairs to one side and well equipped kitchen with electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment.
Sleeping four people in a double and twin bedroom. Spacious shower room with slate tiled floor, shower, loo, wash hand basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.
What a fantastic place to stay. We went for 1 week in August 2010 with a 1 and a 3 year old. The cottage was immaculately presented and had everything we needed. The views were stunning and the grounds were really safe for the children. The owner, his family and staff could not have been more helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family and will definitely visit again!! Cassie Jones
