Accommodation Details

What a bright house! Full of sunshine all the year round, together with fantastic views across the sparkling ocean to Harlech and the Cambrian coastline in one direction and to the sandy beach at Criccieth with the castle sitting proudly above it. A perfect house, beautifully presented, where you will not fail to relax and soak up the scenery and enjoy the bustle of this pretty seaside town which has wonderful individual shops, the butcher, the baker, the greengrocer, the fishmonger, fabulous gift shops - everything but the candlestick maker! ... and some very good restaurants, cafes and pubs.

All the rooms have such a sunny, spacious feel and are carefully furnished with lovely colours and pretty curtains. You will probably not want to draw the curtains as the views are so wonderful, both by day and night when the lights twinkle across the bay and the moon casts its reflection on the sea, it is quite magical.

The sitting room has a wood burning stove, which just adds that extra snugness on wintry day's, comfy sofas and chairs and an enormous flat screen TV with surround sound all singing and dancing extra's. The views are splendid. A great dining room, perfect for holiday meals and plenty of room to push back your chair after meals and chat, the kitchen is bright and cheerful and really well equipped with electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and small fridge.

The downstairs twin bedroom is great if stairs are a problem, there is also a downstairs shower room - I love the bright blue tiles, spacious corner shower, loo and wash hand basin, heated towel rail.

Upstairs to three bedrooms, two double rooms, one with kingsize bed and a small TV. All the bedding has been carefully chosen, comfy mattresses and magnificent views. The single room has cheerful spicy colours.

Outside is also fantastic, there is garden furniture, a hammock...bliss! The outside tap very useful and a there is a gas barbecue, please replace the cylinder if you empty it.

We have just returned from a week at Gorse Hill,The house was delightful with every convenience needed, plus amazing views. We took our elderly parents, who had the downstairs bedroom and lovely walk in shower. We also have 2 minature schnauzers who really enjoyed the walks straight from the door.
