We are delighted Gwel y Mor is now ready to be let. Having been completely  refurbished, this cottage is the perfect destination for anyone seeking a relaxing family holiday by the sea.


The cottage is situated in the pretty seaside village of Moelfre. It's just a short stroll to the centre of the village, famed for its lifeboat station, you will find plenty of interesting shops and places to eat. Be sure to eat at the family run cafe and restaurant "Ann's pantry" and have a cappuccino at "Twm's".

When I think about the perfect seaside holiday, I conjure up images of sunny, hazy days, ice cream on the beach and the sea lapping on my toes - this cottage fits perfectly into this ideal!  Gwel y Mor is exquisitely decorated and styled both in and out.  It is a much loved family home and one with such a lovely feel. The cottage has uninterrupted sea views, large garden and plenty of parking for cars and even a boat, the large patio area makes the ideal spot for some al fresco dining or even just soaking up the sunshine! From the cottage take the little pathway leading down to the sea.

The sparkling new contemporary kitchen follows the beach theme and is very well equipped with electric cooker and hob, dishwasher and microwave.  It has two sitting rooms, one with superb sea views and large sofas, flat screen TV and DVD. There is so much light in this room with its big windows all round - the perfect spot to curl up and read your book or just simply relax. The other sitting room is part of an open plan sitting, kitchen and dinning room layout making for a fantastic sociable family environment. There is fireplace in here which has an electric fire in the summer but is an open, usable fire in the winter. Is there any better feeling than a crackling log fire on a winter's evening, nicely snuggled up with a glass of wine resting your weary legs after a day of walking and exploring?

There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom, with king size bed, enjoys fine sea views and has french doors that open out onto the patio. The other bedrooms, located along the same corridor, are all freshly decorated. There is a twin bedroom and a double room. The family bathroom has a large bath, loo, basin and a separate shower. There is also a shower room with basin and loo.

We stayed at this property in June 2011 and had a fabulous time. The cottage is very clean and very well decorated/furnished. The sea views are incredible, the coastal path is a stones throw away with lots of wildlife/seabirds and the village is just round the corner. We will be going back. Nik. Cheshire
