Accommodation Details
Llwyn Bedw is a delightful stone built cottage nestling in the heart of Snowdonia, commanding the most magnificent views. The views from this cottage are outstanding, you will never tire of the vista and if you are hearty you can walk down the track to the local pub in the village of Nant Peris.
Thick stone walls, a splendid inglenook fireplace and beamed ceilings all add to the character and charm of this house.
The large farmhouse-style family kitchen with a scrubbed wooden table centre, which comfortably seats eight is the centre piece of this cosy room. The Aga is the only means of cooking other than the microwave. It is well-equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and the most stunning view from the kitchen sink!
The small snug next to the kitchen has TV and Video and a sofa bed should you have the occasional guest.
Large comfy sitting room, which in the summer is lovely to sit and relax with the garden door open or snuggle up with a roaring fire in the winter!
Upstairs to three bedrooms, all having their own character - a twin bedded room, a four poster bed and a king size bed. Two bathrooms, one upstairs with bath, wash hand basin and loo and downstairs you can relax in a splendid roll top cast iron bath, run the hot water in first or you will have a cold bottom! Separate shower, loo and wash hand basin.
A lovely, lovely house in an outstanding location, close to Llanberis where you will find a great selection of places to eat and many excellent visitor attractions.

This was the perfect holiday spot for us. The location is magical - never got tired of watching the mountains, waiting for a glimpse of Snowdon. I loved the Aga too - it was almost like a member of the family, and great for cooking the long slow stews we need after a day's walking. A couple of comments though... we were very surprised that there was no teapot; it would have been handy to have the telephone number of the house for incoming calls (given the poor mobile reception); access to more firewood would have been nice too. Quite surprising there was no Visitor's book in the cottage, as we usually find this useful for picking the brains of those who have stayed in the house earlier. These are only small things though, and don't detract from the place as a whole - in fact, we are already trying to work out when we can repeat the visit! Debbie McWhirter
We stayed at Llwyn Bedw in 2007 and it is a magical place that we would love to return to! It is extremely private, situated up a track and in a superb location looking up the valley. The owners have excellent taste in decoration, they just got everything right, our favorite place being the large and warmly inviting kitchen. The cottage is situated centrally and is an excellent base for exploring the entire area - we made trips all the way to Aberystwyth, Caernafon and the superb Bodnant Gardens. Stephen Keen
