Melin y Coed is a wonderful mill conversion on the banks of the River Cadnant, an inlet of the Menai Straits. On the outskirts of the bustling coastal town of Menai Bridge, this lavish and beautifully decorated house is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the wildlife from the balcony. The house has been modernised to the highest standard and is a cosy, sociable house ready to be enjoyed by all.

A very generously sized kitchen/dining area is very well appointed and has everything you would expect of a quality handmade kitchen. Dishwasher, Belfast sink, Granite Worktops, Travertine floors, Fridge Freezer and a Range Cooker are all there in this delightfully sociable hub of the house.

A separate sitting room provides you with comfortable seating for the whole party. There is a gas log burner for those wintery nights when all you want to do is sit and relax in front of a warm fire. This really is a house that if you can bear to close the curtains on this lovely waterside view you will relax and settle into your large sofa with the thick, luxurious curtains sheltering you from the outside world! There is a flat screen TV but I wonder if you would ever need to use it when you have the joys of nature's own show right outside your house.

Upstairs there are three double rooms and one single room. A lot of care and attention has been paid to the bedrooms and bathrooms and no expense spared with the décor. Limestone tiles and high quality sanitary ware greatly complement the carefully chosen furnishings in the bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower, basin and WC. The other bedrooms are all serviced by a large family bathroom with walk in shower and separate bath.

The outside area is carefully planned out to take full advantage of the location and there are several different levels all giving different views of the tidal inlet in which Melin y Coed sits. A private jetty protrudes from bank and is great for fishing and boating. The kitchen opens out on to a decked area at the side of the house and offers a super setting for outside dining!
