I am so delighted to have glorious Morwennol back as I am sure many of you will!! The renovations are finished and the house is absolutely fabulous, I can't wait to stay there!The kitchen combines well with the dining room and extends to a relaxing morning room area where you can sit and throw open the French windows, soak up the view and let the sunshine pour in, in the winter you can keep your toes warm in front of the wood burning stove as well as let the sun pour in!! This is such a calm, relaxing room, oak floors, carefully chosen furniture, soft furnishings and lighting all add to the ambience, chunky oak farmhouse table and chairs take their place well separating the kitchen which is equipped to suit the best of cooks, range cooker, American larder fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave, the utility room houses the washing machine and dryer.
The spacious downstairs master bedroom has a romantic, Mediterranean feel to it, fabulous views, French windows open on to a decked terrace, huge en suit bathroom with roll top cast iron bath, separate shower with drencher head, loo and wash hand basin complete with chair for bath side chats!!
The downstairs shower room with under floor heating is great for showering when you come in from the beach, enclosed shower with loo and wash hand basin.
I love the stripy stair carpet just right for a holiday house!
The upstairs master bedroom has glorious views, en suite shower room with loo and wash hand basin, a further three bedrooms one twin room with perky seaside duvets, a double bedroom and a zip and link bed which can be made up as a double or twins. The family bathroom has bath, shower, wash hand basin, loo and heated towel rail, the shower room has shower, loo and wash hand basin. Outside there is a decked terrace along the front of the house, a lawned area and and a little private sitting area tucked away, garden furniture.
Our first stay at Morwennol exceeded our expectations. Fabulous house, wonderful location, almost on the beach.Great weather helped to make this family celebration a memorable 5 days, we hope to return in the near future.
