This charming stone cottage is tucked away in a fabulous, elevated position, and its stunning views towards Snowdon and the Lleyn Peninsula have inspired many famous artists including Charles Tunnicliffe and Philip Snow. Set within its own 30 acres of land, Perth Hwfa is accessed up a private drive, giving a real sense of privacy - but there are two village pubs within walking distance!

It is only a five-minute walk to the Malltraeth estuary sands, renowned for their birdlife, and the best beaches of Anglesey are only 10 minutes by car. These long stretches of sandy beaches and sand dunes are breathtakingly beautiful, ideal for days out and picnics. The bustling seaside village of Rhosneigr is also 10 minutes' drive away, and here you can find shops, cafes and restaurants as well as a great selection of water sports.

Perth Hwfa is a much-loved house that has been in the same family since the 1950s. It has recently been updated, but retains an old-fashioned charm. This spacious holiday home is perfect for groups, or for families with children.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, all with glorious views: a large double with its own balcony, a smaller double bedroom and a twin room.

The upstairs bathroom is light and bright with a loo, wash basin and a bath with hand-held shower. The downstairs bathroom has a loo, wash hand basin and a walk-in shower.

The super farmhouse kitchen is equipped with a Rayburn, an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and a microwave. The kitchen table seats six or more, and French doors open out onto the garden.

Sitting room
The large sitting room has a wood-burning stove, perfect for relaxing around after a walk on the beach. There is a TV with DVD player, an iPod dock and board games. Broadband is available.

Second sitting room/study

Between the main sitting room and hall, this is a room where you can work or use a laptop in relative peace.

Utility room with washing machine.

There is a large garden in front of the house, with well-established trees and a barbecue.

Parking and log store
Plenty of parking for two or three cars, and a log store.

Nitty Gritty
Well-behaved dogs are welcome (but downstairs only and not on the furniture please!)

We have just got back from Perth Hwfa. What a fantastic well equipped, well maintained house (lovely atmosphere) Beautiful gardens and views. Not far from the little village with a shop and chip shop. A short walk to the beach. Very peaceful. We had a brilliant time as always. We hope to visit again next year Jane Massey

We've had an excellent stay this week in this peaceful and lovely cottage. Our 5 and 6 year old daughters enjoyed picking blackberries in the garden and playing hide and seek. Great beaches and walks. House very comfortable with a great aspect looking out to the estuary. Thank you. Hornby Family

We have stayed in quite a few holiday cottages over the years but this one is definitely the best! The house itself is amazing, the views are stunning and the house itself was so clean! Thanks for such a great week. Hope to be back! Tom, Louise, Alice, Susan & Peter

Very well equipped house. Beds with lovely crisp, fresh sheets! The view over the Menai Strait great (watching rain clouds over Wales quite pleasing). Anglesey dry and warm and people so nice, as usual. Full marks again for this clean, cobweb-free house! Lambs

A truly relaxing get away from it all week. The house and location is stunning and you never tire of the views which are ever changing. Thanks for all the homely touches in the house - your kitchen is a lovely room to cook in, live in and watch the world - I definitely have kitchen envy. Thanks again. Gary, Lisa and Charlie the dog

Lovely house, great setting. Weather mixed but still walked and cycled. Plenty of wildlife to watch in the garden - 3 woodpeckers at one point! Great chilling holiday - would love to come again. Carol, Tom, Matt & Joe
