What a fantastic house, completely transformed by Sioned and her mother who was brought up here. A metamorphosis from a traditional farmhouse to a fabulous relaxing holiday house with just everything you could ask for.
The clever combination of beautiful Welsh oak furniture with contemporary furnishings and wonderful colours has made this a fabulous holiday cottage. The bedrooms have superb beds with deep squashy duvets, Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy towels. The kitchen has every thing you would want to enjoy cooking for friends or family and if you leave the house to explore you are a short drive from Caernarfon, Snowdonia and the wonderful coastline of the Lleyn Peninsula. There is no shortage of things to do and places to go. The little steam trains of the Welsh Highland Railway run past the end of the lane on its way from Caernarfon to Beddgelert and nearby you have two good restaurants, Rhiwafallon and Glynllifion.
A delightful farmhouse kitchen welcomes you with cheerful red tiles, farmhouse kitchen table and old chapel chairs, very well equipped with Rayburn, electric cooker and double oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and in the utility room a washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge freezer with chilled water dispenser and a separate sink.
Small snug sitting room with TV and DVD with Freeview, a great room for children who will find plenty of games and books tucked away in the cupboard in the hall. A splendid dining room with lovely polished table, superb Welsh dresser with a full set of china, electric wood burning stove takes the chill off in the summer but for added ambience you may like to light the fire for Christmas or special occasions. Sitting room with another Welsh dresser, gas flame fire , TV and DVD with Sky plus, CD player. A favourite Kyffin Williams print of a Welsh farmer on the wall.
Downstairs cloakroom and basin
Upstairs to four wonderful bedrooms, all in relaxing colours, and beautifully presented with lots of sweet, fun little bits and bobs such as the teddy and the door stops, all chosen with care to make the house that bit different.
Two double bedrooms, one with a splendid king size brass bed and relaxing colours, the second room is crisp and fresh with mix of blue checks and Tiole du jouy. The twin bedroom has zip and link beds so could be king size or made up as 2. Finally the pretty raspberry room with wash hand basin has a single bed with a proper pull out bed tucked underneath.
The bathroom has a lovely big bath with central mixer tap and shower, loo and wash hand basin. A very pretty, calm shower room with large corner shower, loo and wash hand basin.
Outside pretty pots of flowers and shrubs dotted around, there is a small terrace with sun loungers to the front of the house, a dear little summer house where you can enjoy a morning coffee, and raised patio with garden furniture and parasol for enjoying al fresco meals, large grassed area.
You will have fond memories and happy times in this relaxing environment and greatly cared for and tended house.
Very pleased with the standard of accomodation, clean and extremely well equipped.Great location for visiting North West Wales, and entertaining to have a steam train running through the grounds. Elizabeth Bentley
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at this amazing property. The attention to detail and quality is quite extraordinary, I cannot imagine finding a more comfortable and well equipped holiday home. We had a glorious week.

we have just returned from a wonderful stay at Plas Bodaden, the farmhouse is very comfortable and had plenty of space for 8 of us to spread out, the kitchen is fabulous and we spent many hours at the farmhouse table. everything we needed, and in easy reach of Caernarfon for great places to eat and the lleyn peninsula and anglesey for fantastic beaches and scenery. Thank you for a lovely stay. A fantastic property in a fabulous setting.
Enjoyed watching the Woodpecker feeding just outside the kitchen window, and our son was enthralled by 'horsey' (though opening the curtains in the snug to see her nose to the window was a bit of a shock!).
Dinas Dinlle beach very nice, cycle path by the railway into Caernafon very convenient and all round superb location for exploring North Wales.
Already booked again, can't wait. Joel Solway
