Plas Madoc Lodge is a romantic little stone cottage, just along the road from the picturesque town of Llanrwst, and a few miles from Betws Y Coed. Perfectly situated to explore the beautiful Conwy Valley which links the sea at Conwy to the mountains. Visitors are welcome to walk along the drive through the splendid park and enjoy its peace and tranquillity. Just up the road a short walk is an excellent farm shop selling local meat, vegetables and dairy products.
The cottage provides spacious accommodation for two. The sitting room is confortably furnished and has a wood burning stove for the pleasure of a real fire, which when in use also provides hot water. There is a dining area in a deep bay window looking onto the park and farmland.
The kitchen is well equipped with electric hob, double ove and fridge/freezer. A door leads to a sheltered paved courtyard with table, chairs and a barbecue for outdoor meals.
The double bedroom is well appointed, and the bathroom has an electric shower over the bath, basin and loo. Hot water is provided by an immersion heater.
Splendid cottage with easy access to lots of interesting places to visit. Great to return to after walking up Snowdon. Helpful and friendly caretaker. Happy to return. Bernadette and Peter
A fantastic property and location. Plas Madoc Lodge has everything you need and makes hill and mountain bike days easily accessible as well as a lovely place to return to at the end of the day. We will definitely be back. Helen & Alan
