What an idyllic house this is, situated right on the beautiful Borth-y-Gest harbour with the most breathtaking views across the tidal estuary to Cnicht (the Welsh Matterhorn) and across to the other side of this pretty bay. This spacious cottage is within walking distance of several beautiful sandy coves leading to the glorious Black Rock Sands.
Borth y Gest is a great location from which to visit Snowdonia, Portmeirion and the Welsh Highland Railway. It has a popular restaurant and teashop, both with stunning views, and somewhere to buy your morning paper and other essentials.
The owners have gone to great lengths in renovating this property to ensure that it is just as they would want to find a holiday home, using high quality furnishings to complement a spacious and airy house.
Large entrance hall with lots of room for coats, boots, etc, giving access to the stairs, living room and a downstairs loo with a superb view! Lovely open plan living room, a mix of old and new. A pretty bay window, original stripped floorboards combined with deep comfy sofas make this a great sitting room to relax in. The kitchen has an Oriel window giving superb view across the bay and to the mountains. It is well equipped with gas hob, double oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, dining table and chairs. There is even a telescope for you to enjoy the views and wildlife.
Up light and airy stairs to two bedrooms, one double and one large twin. The double bedroom is furnished in a chic New England style to complement its view across the bay. It has an ensuite shower room with loo and basin and dear little window also overlooking the bay.
There is also a large luxury bathroom with walk in shower and period fittings, loo, basin, and a roll top double-ended bath, bliss!
Outside is a small garden adjacent to the harbour, a lovely place to sit and unwind in the evening.

Stayed for a lovely 2 weeks Holiday in 2008. Fantastic location and smart spacious accommodation. Stunning views over the harbour. Would stay ther again if it were available (book early!) Dave & Vicky Meek
