An absolute gem of a cottage in a stunning location with magnificent sea views to the Beacon at Rhoscolyn and beyond where you can sit for hours and watch the seals sploshing around and playing, or boats sailing by, or just enjoy the sea and sky. The coastguard look out is on the headland to the right of the cottage and the Coastal Footpath is at the bottom of the garden, on the other side of the garden wall which keeps your garden sheltered and private. Rhoscolyn is a great location, not only for families but also for geologists and divers claiming to have some of the clearest water around Anglesey.A two minute walk along the footpath to the pretty bay with safe sandy beaches and a short stroll to the very popular gastro pub, The White Eagle.
The house is an upside down house to get maximum benefit of the glorious views. The sitting room has comfy sofas set around the open fireplace which is so cosy in the winter months, in the summer throw open the doors to the Juliet balconies and let the sunshine pour in. Sit at the large dining table where you can linger over leisurely meals soaking up the view! The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and microwave, however washing the dishes is no chore as you look from the kitchen sink straight across to the bay and beach!
Downstairs to four bedrooms, all with a quaintness about them and nicely presented with little interesting extras, two twin bedrooms, one double bedroom and a single bedroom - you may fit an extra tiddler in the single room for a sleepover if you ask!
The shower room has a shower, loo and wash hand basin, and the bathroom has bath with electric shower over, loo and wash hand basin.
The ground floor utility room is great for storing outdoor clothing and if you are barbecuing, it has a fridge freezer and also a washing machine.
Point Gardens, not surprisingly bearing in mind its name, is surrounded by a large enclosed garden extending over one acre. There is garden furniture.
A perfect cottage in a perfect location!

We were truly impressed by this cottage - a lovely location in Rhoscolyn just 3 minutes walk from the beaches and with sea views from the upstairs living room. The cottage itself is nicely equipped and comfortable, the location is private and countrified, and the owners (we met them by pure coincidence on our departure day) charming, friendly and genuine... the characteristics reflected in their lovely cottage. (We don't want to give the impression we were 'watched' - it was simply the fact that the owners had travelled to do the cleaning for the changeover at the end of our stay and we were a bit late leaving!) We hope to return to this lovely cottage - this is recommendation in itself as we are a bit fussy! James Rogers
Point Gardens is a well appointed cottage which is very comfortable and private. Extremely cosy with the warm and inviting woodburner. It is in a fabulous location and the views from the living room are breath taking. A stones throw from the sea and beautiful beaches a very safe haven for children to swim and explore. A walkers paradise with the coastal path nearby. I have fished from the near by rocks catching a variety of seasonal fish including Sea Bass. Also the local pub "The White Eagle" (5 mins walk) caters for all food tastes and good beers. The cottage is in an excellent position to explore Anglesey and North Wales. Whilst there we took the day fast ferry to Dublin and spent time in the Guinness museum and Temple Bar listening to live traditional Irish music. Point Gardens has everything for the discerning quintessential British Holiday. Mr D Leach
The cottage was well equipped and a very homely, relaxing atmosphere, tasteful decor.
Local Information available in this cottage was quite comprehensive.
Fantastic position with great access to the coast and the rest of Anglesey, a very quiet corner of Holy Island with a range of habitat & wildlife on the doorstep, easy striking distance to South Stack & the RSPB site, with a varying selection of walks from the location to suit all. There is probably every kind of outdoor activity avalable locally!
A truly great place to stay. C Jameson
