It is always great for us to offer something different and we are delighted that Pumpkin cottage is now available. This fascinating Scandinavian style Lodge is not far from the historic coastal towns of Menai Bridge and Beaumaris.This cottage is perfect for families and really offers a fun holiday experience. It is set away from the busy roads in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking fields, with the mountains in the distance. Pumpkin cottage is for all seasons. A log fire and cosy interiors make for the most perfect winter break but with a lovely verandah and being driving distance to the beach it is a true summer destination. Pack your beach towels and bucket and spade!
The kitchen is well equipped with pale blue cabinets, slate floors and American retro style fridge. The open plan living and dining area are very spacious and theres even room for table football! Also on the ground floor is a modern shower room with a free standing walk-in power shower, toilet and basin.
Both bedrooms are upstairs, The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and an intimate feature bath. From this room you can walk out onto a balcony where you can enjoy views of the beautiful Snowdonia mountain range. An ever changing view as the seasons change. Across the landing is a twin bedroom with uniterrupted views across the countryside. Also on this floor is a separate toilet and basin.
Beyond the verandah around the outside of the house is flat grass for the kids to play on. The cottage is on a small gated development not far from the village of Pentraeth. A short distance in the car and you will find Red Wharf Bay one of Anglesey's prettiest bays with two great places to eat The Boathouse and The Tavern and a very friendly pub called The Ship.
