Formerly the Station master's house this beautifully presented cottage sits in a peaceful location on the now disused Amlwch to Gaerwen railway track a short walk from the friendly local pub which serves food. The short 15 minute drive to Cemaes Bay takes you along one of Anglesey's prettiest roads with far reaching views across Anglesey and the coastline. There is no shortage of things to do in this pretty part of the Island with an18 hole golf course at Bull Bay, the spectacular coastal walks, Parys Mountain Copper Mine, fly fishing at Llyn Alaw or just sit in the garden and read a book!
Station House is a cosy comfy house, large sitting room with sofas and chairs set around the living flame gas fire a good selection of books and games, CD and TV with DVD recorder. The kitchen/dining room is bright, spacious and cheerful, well equipped with gas hob, range cooker, and combination microwave. French windows open out on to the garden. There is a utility room with dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine and tumble dryer. A toilet with loo and wash hand basin opens off this room.
Upstairs to four bedrooms, two double rooms one twin room and one single bed room. The bathroom has a bath, separate walk-in shower, loo and wash hand basin.
Outside a pretty enclosed garden ideal for children to play safely.
we stayed here last year and it was lovely, very relaxing and homely. it was home from home, I have five children and they enjoyed the stay and were comfy in their rooms. we've booked again this year for two weeks us we enjoyed it last year. it's a really quite and rural area with lost of nice walks and views. the house was very clean and we had clean linen delivered mid week. Excellent cottage 6 adults,1 toddler,1 baby and 2 dogs stayed the week 6/8/2011. Had great time, station house felt very homely had everything we needed. Good car parking for 4 cars. Garden lovely and a good size. No where to directly walk to with dogs and kids from the house so had to use the car everyday. Would stay again. Anna campbell
5 of us stayed at station House 22-29th aug 2009 A lovely cottage very cosy could do with a larder fridge the one provided is too small especially as there are no shops near by also there are no walks directly from the house you need to drive everywhere ...the house sits virtually on the road which can be busy at times watch the children/dogs enjoyed our stay thankyou to the owners for the welcome note and milk /tea for our cuppa on arrival Mrs Anne Kaye
