We are thrilled that Tan Twr Farmhouse is ready for letting. It is a super family retreat! Log fires, a large country kitchen and plenty of space for all the family in a wonderfully comfortable house, and I haven't even mentioned the views. Mountains, Sea, rolling fields, this is the all encompassing view of the Anglesey countryside, and can be enjoyed from many rooms in the house. Tan Twr Farmhouse is found on the south west area of Anglesey and there is much to do here. Plas Newydd, a historic house and gardens are well worth a visit, the Anglesey Sea Zoo is close by, or if you a fancy a day at the beach, then Newborough beach is just 10 minutes from the house.There are so many things we like about this house, the very airy and light dining room with big windows looking into the garden, the conservatory which enjoys some of the finest views around and the big open plan, very well equipped country kitchen. This is the hub of the house and one which I see many a happy holiday memory being created. There are three sitting rooms! One library and two with televisions and comfy sofas and log fires.
The bedroom arrangement is perfect for all members of the family. A large master bedroom with an antique super king size bed and an ensuite shower room is found upstairs, along with two further generously sized doubles and also a bunk room. A really handy aspect of this house is that there is a ground floor double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. This is ideal for family or friends with creaking limbs who may not wish to use the stairs. No excuse not to bring the whole family with you! There is also shower room on the landing upstairs.
The grounds of the house are impressive and extremely well kept. There are plenty of tended lawns and open space to use as well as shrubs and flowers to enjoy. Parking is also plentiful. The farmhouse is located next to Chellow Cottage and Tan Twr Cottages and can be booked together. This is a private converted farm where privacy between each cottage is highly valued but together would make a fantastic, large group holiday.
