Temperance House is a wonderful family house, Grade II listed, in the heart of the ever popular historic town of Beaumaris. Once you have driven up to the house and unloaded your luggage, there is no need to use your car again! Everything is on your doorstep. Fine dining, traditional pubs with open fires, a waterfront with the most exquisite views of the Menai Straits and Snowdonia mountain range beyond. Beaumaris has the kind of high street we all wish we had in our nearby towns! Take a breath of fresh sea air and step back to a time when not all high streets looked the same with the same shops. Here you can find a local butcher, a baker which is not to be missed, quirky shops and art galleries as well as tea rooms to sit and watch the world go by!The house itself is a late Georgian house with so much character! The well equipped kitchen is found on the ground floor with an adjoining dining area. Dishwasher, washing machine and a large range cooker. There are three further rooms, a snug/music room with a TV, a garden room which is a great place to keep your bucket and spade or your crab lines, could you ask for more from a holiday house?
On the first floor there is the most fantastic sitting room with a lovely open fire and TV/DVD, I think it is one of my favourite rooms we have, a large room overlooking the front of the house, spacious, sumptious and cosy! Just next to here is a childrens playroom with plenty of books and games to keep them entertained for hours. This is right next door to the sitting room and so ideal for keeping an eye on the little ones. At the back of the house looking at the garden there is a generous double bedroom with so much light. Also on this floor is a walk in shower room with a loo and basin.
Up another flight of stairs and you will come to three further bedrooms. The master bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom and two further twin rooms, one has smaller beds and childrens furniture so is very much more suited for the kids! The mature garden at the back of the house is great, it's enclosed and a great spot to sit and read a book or have a bbq.
