A fabulous town house in the centre of Pwllheli, chic and contemporary, laid out to maximise the sea views. Walk in to the historic small town and enjoy the pubs, restaurants and plethora of quaint and interesting shops, the Spar won a Food and Farming Award for promoting local food! Pwllheli Sailing Club welcomes visitors. A short drive to lots of pretty bays, coves and long sandy beaches interspersed with pretty seaside villages where you will find locally caught fish, crabs and lobsters for sale. The scenery on this coastline is outstanding, Abersoch and Nefyn are close by and the beautiful village of Aberdaron nestles at the end of the peninsula.Upstairs to the first floor open plan living kitchen with Juliet balcony, lovely views of the sea, mountains and a monkey puzzle tree!
Superb, very well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, dining table and chairs to one side... I love the picture!! Settle on the sofa in the kitchen and look out to sea whilst sipping your morning coffee.
Single bedroom with pull out bed. Shower room with corner shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Upstairs to comfy chic sitting room with fabulous views by day and night. I love the comfy sofas and the living flame fire adds ambience to the room on cooler nights, Juliet balcony, flat screen TV with play station, Sky and DVD.
Double bedroom with pretty bedding and squishy deep duvets, bathroom with bath, shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Upstairs to two double en-suite bedrooms, one with king size bed, pretty toile du jouy, very light and airy crispy white bed linen and the most glorious views. The second bedroom has a pretty cast iron bed dressed with lovely crisp linen and a multitude of throws. Both en-suites have shower, loo and wash hand basin with heated towel rail .
The garage houses the laundry area complete with washing machine and tumble dryer plus plenty of space for storage of surf boards, bikes, kayaks, wet suits, golf clubs and outdoor clothing and is home to the table tennis table!
A fabulous contemporary town house, which is easy and relaxing and perfect at any time of the year with a lovely welcome basket to greet you.
this house is fantastic so much room it's welcoming as soon as you walk in. kitchen has everything you could possibly think of,every bathroom had toilet roll to last the week, the bedrooms are all beautifully decorated and the beds are so comfortable.the shops are literally at the bottom of the street.we had a fantastic week at the town house. mr & mrs morrison & family
We stayed for a week June 2010 (two couples). This is a really lovely house in the town centre. It is extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and obviously new. It has en-suites to every one of the bedrooms which is an added bonus. Top marks to "Sparkle" the company that looks after the preparation and cleaning of the property. On our arrival it was immaculate and the welcome basket with wine, coffee and other goodies was a very pleasant surprise. I would recommend this house to anyone especially larger families/parties. My only reservation is that the town of Pwllheli has obviously suffered at the hands of the recession. Places to eat and drink in the evening are few and very poor quality, in the town that is. That said drive a few miles to places like Abersoch (Angelinas is great) and all is well.
Its in a good position to explore Snowdonia and the peninsula itself seems to have its own micro-climate with fair weather even when elswhere it was raining and cold.
As for Menai Holidays I didn't have to contact them after the initial booking which in my book is a result, meaning all was well. So thanks for a great stay we will be back to you, no doubt, very soon. Chris Arnold
