Accommodation Details

From the front door of this traditional stone terraced cottage - take the first left turning and you are on the way to one if not the most beautiful beaches on Anglesey. Llanddwyn is a long sandy beach with an island at the far end named after Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of love. A fantastic location for wildlife lovers, Newborough Warren is home to Europe's largest collection of wildflowers, the forest is home to red squirrels and ornithologists love the hides at Newborough and the pools of Malltraeth home to many waders throughout the year.  The cottage is also close to one of Anglesey's many cycle routes.

An original town house dating back to 18th century. T'yn yr Ardd has been carefully restored by its owner/architect who has retained much of the original character. The exposed beams, stone walls, and the original fireplace have been cleverly combined with contemporary furnishings, fabrics and pictures making this a bright, cheerful welcoming, cosy cottage A great retreat all the year round.

The wood burning stove set in to the inglenook fireplace in the sitting room is great on cooler nights, comfy seating, TV with DVD and CD and good collection of DVD's and CD's, interesting touches like the step up to the dining room add charm to the cottage, the long galley type kitchen is well equipped with ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. Bathroom with shower over the bath, wash hand basin and loo. A reading room offers a quiet area where you will find a good selection of books - curl up on the futon and relax.

Upstairs to two bedrooms one double room and a single with pull out bed.

Outside is a sitting area in the yard with plants and table and chairs a great spot for breakfast, this leads to steps up to a small terraced garden with pots of honeysuckle, table and a bench.

Key to free access to the beach saves £3 each visit will be in the property for you to enjoy.
