This pretty town house sits in the centre of Menai Bridge, the gateway town of Anglesey. A beautifully presented cottage with the most delightful terraced garden, glossy magazine stuff!
Menai Bridge has so much to offer. Interesting shops, great pubs, restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes and pockets, galleries and lovely walks, a stroll away along the Belgian Promenade where you will see plenty of wildlife or across the Telford Menai Suspension Bridge.
You can see the owners flair throughout, carefully chosen colours, hand made crafts - I love the shell mirror! The unusual tiered garden has a decked area halfway up where you can enjoy a relaxing drink and soak up the abundance of colour.
The glorious sandy beaches and quaint coves along the coast of Anglesey are just a short drive away as are the majestic mountains of Snowdonia.
The ground floor is open plan with French windows opening on to the garden. The cream and white colour scheme gives a fresh feeling but cosy in the winter months. Relax in the deep comfy sofas and enjoy the garden, which is lit in the evening, so attractive by day or night. Traditional scrubbed pine dining table and chairs, Digital TV with Freeview and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker with extractor fan, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave.
Upstairs three bedrooms, two double rooms, one overlooking the garden, and a single bedroom, all beautifully presented.
The bathroom has bath with power shower over, basin and loo.
A delightful house in a great location.
Ty'r Ardd is a lovely cottage - cosy and warm, and beautifully appointed. The beds are comfortable (fairly hard mattresses) and the rooms simply but tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very usable for cooking even proper meals - although there's a very good curry house just down the street! The little garden is pretty. Our family had a lovely time, thanks.
