Accommodation Details
Tyn Towyn, is a sleepy holiday development with a total of eight beautifully-finished self-catering cottages, just a few minutes walk to one of the prettiest beaches on Anglesey. There is some much to do in this part of the world from walking along the coastal path, sailing, golfing, bird watching, or just plain relaxing, its all on your doorstep. The grounds around Tyn Towyn are fantastic and a fountain in the courtyard is a tasteful and relaxing centrepiece. In the courtyard there is a pretty raised area with flowers, shrubs and benches, the perfect place to sit and read a book!
Ty Piws meaning Purple house after the striking colour of its door is my favourite cottage at Tyn Towyn. On both sides of the tastefully decorated sitting room are large floor to ceiling windows letting the sunshine flood in. Both modern and cosy, a great deal of care has gone into this cottage, from the comfy custom made sofas to the tasteful individual soft furnishings. The sitting room and dining room combine to provide guests with an open plan living space ideal for a family holiday. The beautifully built stone fireplace surround is testament to the craft and time that has gone into creating these holiday cottages of the highest standard.
The brand new, sleek and modern kitchen is located next to the dining area and is fully-equipped to provide any budding chef the platform to provide a big family meal or a romantic candlelit dinner for two. Upstairs there are three delightful bedrooms each with vaulted beamed ceilings and handmade furniture. There are two doubles with TVs and dressing tables and a small comfortable single. There are also a 2 contemporary shower rooms with, a loo, washbasin and a heated towel rail upstairs and downstairs and plenty of storage to keep your beachwear and bucket and spade!
Trearddur Bay is a fantastic location with its many pretty coves and beaches. You can follow the coast along the beautiful coastal footpath, by foot, bike or car all the way to South Stack, the lighthouse and RSPB Reserve. The two main beaches, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The Seacroft (tried and tested by us!) is a great place to meet with friends and have a drink or an evening meal.
Shared laundry facilities are available and an internet room where guests have use of a PC and an Apple. There is ample parking in a private parking area adjacent to the cottages. There is plenty of space in the lovely manicured gardens to walk and sit relaxing on your seaside holiday.
