Accommodation Details

This quaint little wooden cottage nestles on the side of the hill above Llanfairfechan, on the edge of the garden of a most interesting old house. Both the cottage and the house were designed by a well known architect, Herbert North, and the main house Wern Isaf is open to the public who come to admire its Arts and Crafts interior and its woodland gardens. Situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, this is the ideal place for walkers  a footpath starts from the front gate and wonderful walks up the hill and along the beautiful valley behind the village.

The cottage has two bedrooms, a double room and a single room with most unusual gabled ceilings. The living room has a comfortable sofa and armchair, and table for meals or for setting out the games which are provided together with a selection of books. There is a dear little fireplace left as a decorative feature, as the house is well insulated, double glazed and quick and easy to heat with its electric heating.

The kitchen is simple with an electric cooker, slow cooker and fridge/freezer, microwave, a good supply of pots and utensils and with a breakfast table. The bathroom has a bath, basin and WC and both this and the kitchen are heated by wall mounted electric heaters.

At the top of the garden is a patio catching the evening sun and with sweeping views down the coast and across the sea to Anglesey. On the edge of the Snowdonia National Park this is the place for walkers with a footpath from the front gate and wonderful walks up the hills and along the beautiful valley behind the village.
