West View is right in the middle of this busy seaside village, half a minute from the beach. Rhosneigr is a much sought after family destination with lovely sandy beaches, safe waters, wonderful rock pools and good beaches for cowrie hunters!The village has good eating places, a well-stocked village shop and greengrocer; many people just come to visit the Anglesey Arthouse, full of lovely paintings and all sorts of interesting bits and bobs to buy.
West View has been carefully and thoughtfully refurbished by the owners to provide a really cheerful, comfortable holiday house and their attention to detail will ensure that you want for nothing.
The spacious sitting room has plenty of comfy sofas and chairs, TV, DVD, Video, CD & cassette player and masses of toys and games. The dining area with table and chairs, or if you prefer to eat outside a door opens on to a paved patio area of the enclosed garden with nice garden furniture.
The kitchen is well-equipped with electric convection oven and 4-ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, fridge and all the little extras in the way of utensils that you would expect in this house; arch through to breakfast room with round table and chairs on a quarry tiled floor.The utility area has masses of hanging space for wet weather gear, wetsuits, wellies etc. Shower, loo, sink and washing machine with tumble dryer.
Sleeping 12/13 in 6 really pleasant, bright rooms. On the first floor there are 3 double rooms and 1 twin bedded room. The main double room has a TV & DVD.
Bathroom with 2 steps up to a large, double ended bath - room for two I'm sure, wash hand basin, bidet, and shaver point. The separate shower room has electric shower, loo, wash hand basin and shaver point. There is also a separate loo and basin.
On the 2nd floor two bedrooms both with lovely views out to sea and mountains - one double and one twin room. Shower room.
Outside an enclosed garden, which has sunshine all day and enjoys the evening setting sun, garden furniture and parking for two cars. There is also room for a boat in the garden.
We stayed at West View at the end of August with our extended family for a special wedding anniversary treat. It is a lovely house - seriously under-sold on the website! - with lots of room for 8 adults and 3 children to spread out. Lovely to be so close to the beach, but be warned - grown men are likely to engage in ice-cream eating competitions from the shop over the road!

Fantastic house. The pictures and vidio do not really do it justice. It really is only 30 seconds from the beach and the garden catches the evening sun. The children loved the ice cream shop just across the road and we managed to sample every flavour during the week! Their parting cry was "can we come again please!" When the satnav says turn right and you have reached your destination, you have to turn left instead or you will finish up in the sea! janis ball
