Accommodation Details

What a wonderful cottage! In a great location midway between  the bustling town of Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon. Interesting shops, excellent attractions including the Snowdon mountain railway and good places to eat.  The historic town of Caernarfon in the other direction with its splendid Castle on the shores of the Menai Straits, you can enjoy good food and Welsh Culture. The beautiful coastlines of the Lleyn Peninsular and long sandy beaches are close by!

Yr Hen Stabl - ‘Old Stable' as it was formerly  has been lovingly renovated to provide guests with a spacious, contemporary feel,  cosy log burning stove and comfy leather sofas .

The cottage itself is a sociable, open plan layout with the sitting area to one end with cosy log burner for wintry nights and comfy leather sofas.  The well equipped kitchen divides the sitting and dining area.  French doors open on to a sunny patio and beyond to an enclosed lawn where you can enjoy the warm sunshine.

Two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one a twin each one with beautiful oak furniture and carefully chosen bed linen. A largeish bathroom with a bath and walk in shower. This house, on a working farm has justifiably been given a 5* grading and when you stay there you will see why, every detail has been thought of by the owners, who look forward to welcoming you to their little piece of Wales.

We have just returned home from a brilliant stay at the 'Yr Hen Stabl'. We were recommended the cottage by our friends who had a fantastic time earlier on in the year, and we were not disappointed. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and larger than imagined, with little touches which really does make the cottage home from home. We visited the cottage with my parents and our 7 month old baby. We were supplied which a proper cot and matress, which is much better than the normal travel cots which are usually provided. The welcome pack was really very generous, and very enjoyable. The cottage is in a lovely spot and a great location for exploring the area. Mr & Mrs Williams should be proud of the conversion of this cottage, they give a very friendly welcome and we wish them continued success and are hoping to be back soon. Having just spent a week in this cottage I can recommend it most highly.
The owners provided a personal touch with a well received welcome pack of provisions and the family's friendliness was always evident. The facilities are exceptional and we were very comfortable throughout our week at Y Hen Stabl. The area is nice and peaceful. We wish Mr and Mrs Williams continued success and hope to visit again. We have just enjoyed a week at 'Yr Hen Stabl' which provided the perfect base for a family holiday.
A fantastic cottage, spacious and modern, well deserving of a 5 star grading, and convenient for exploring the many attractions of both Snowdonia and Anglesey. The cottage is located away from the main road down a single track in a relaxing rural setting neighbouring a farm and caravan park. There is private parking and the enclosed lawn to the rear is perfect for the kids to play and for enjoying the sun when it shines.

we have just come back from a weeks holiday at the above stable and it was absolutely fantastic. The owners were very welcoming and the accommodation was outstanding.
