Walking Breaks in North Wales

North Wales is one of the best destinations in the UK for a walking holiday, offering visitors hundreds of miles of coastal, countryside and mountain paths to explore.  We offer a number of walking breaks so you can make the most of what the area has to offer.

Snowdonia offers something for everyone – whether it is a quiet lake-side stroll, a walk up Snowdon, a climb up Cader Idris or a scramble up Tryfan. The area has 15 peaks over 3,000ft, over one hundred lakes, stunning rivers and flora & fauna of national and international importance.

The Anglesey coastline boasts beaches, dunes, coves, incredible rock formations and harbours as well as marine and bird conservation areas. Add to that ancient Stone Age and Celtic burial chambers, a medieval castle, lighthouses and magnificent views of Snowdonia. It is all part of Anglesey’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - the largest in Wales. Most of the recently completed 125-mile long Anglesey Coastal Path passes through this AONB, providing walkers with ever-changing scenery and a host of different walks.

The diverse landscape of the Lleyn Peninsula is criss-crossed with footpaths and sets walkers the challenge of completing the 84 mile long Lleyn Coastal Path which takes an average of seven days to complete. The path passes small coves and wide expanses of sand, to rugged cliffs and wild heath land.

Summit & Sea

This two day break offers a guided mountain walk one day, and a guided coastal walk on the other. The great thing is, it is your break so you can choose what you do! Snowdon is a popular choice on the mountain day, but there are of course may other summits to conquer. Depending on the location of your property, the coastal walk can either be on the Anglesey or Lleyn coastal paths.

Snowdon Guided Walk

Many visitors to Snowdonia want to tackle it's highest peak - Mount Snowdon. If you don't have the confidence to try it on your own, this package allows you to enjoy the walk whilst your experienced guide shows you the way and answers your questions about the surrounding scenery.

Lleyn Coastal Path

Many of our properties on the Peninsula have good access to the Lleyn Coastal Path. We can arrange for you to be collected from your property and provided with everything you need to enjoy two days walking in spectacular scenery.

From your Property

• Pick-up from property on both days and taken to a point on the Lleyn Coastal Path (one day's walk from your property, tailored depending on ability).
• Provided with maps and GPS kit pre-programmed to take you all the way back to your property.
• The length and direction of routes can be discussed prior to booking, depending on the location of your chosen property.
• Up to 4 people £35 per group, 5-11 people £50.

From Aberdaron

• As above, but you meet at Aberdaron on both days. You will then be driven one day's walk away - one day on the north coast, and one day on the south coast.
• You can then walk back along the coastal path aided by maps and pre-programmed GPS kit.
• Up to 4 people £20 per group, 5-11 people £40.
