Conwy Brewery were the first brewery in the Conwy area for over 100 years when they set up shop, reaching their 10th anniversary in 2013. They produce a relatively small but perfectly formed selection of cask and bottle conditioned ales made using soft water from the mountains of Snowdonia. As the name suggests they are based in the Conwy Valley, so beer doesn't get much more local to us than this! They don't use any artificial ingredients and all the beers are suitable for vegetarians - an added bonus!
In addition to this the beers are all bottled, at source, on their premises in Llysfaen - this is a company that takes pride in their product! Conwy Brewery also have a joint venture alongside 3 other breweries in the guise of The Albion Ale House in Conwy (which is one of team member Nicole's favourite haunts!). They have a great core range which is available year-round, but their seasonal ales, only available at certain times of year - such as Christmas - are also worth trying.
