On the Water
Anglesey is a superb spot for watersports, including surfing, diving, fishing, coasteering, sailing and of course swimming. Diving is particularly popular given the vast number of shipwrecks around the coast, which make for superb diving territory. There are also four sailing and yacht clubs on the island.The best windsurfing and kite surfing conditions can be found at Rhosneigr on the island's west coast, or at Llanddwyn beach, on the Menai Strait. Other surfing hotspots are Cable Bay and Porth Tyn Twyn.

Anglesey Divers - Based in Holyhead, in close proximity to some of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty around the UK, Anglesey Divers offers a range of activities for all levels of experience - from those seeking guidance whilst taking their first exploratory breaths in a swimming pool, to those wanting to reach instructor status.
Anglesey Adventures - From their base near Trearddur Bay, Anglesey Adventures offers a host of activities both on and off the water, including coasteering and kayaking through to climbing and orienteering - great for individuals and groups.
Coasteering Wales - Coasteering is the adventure sport of the moment, a full on adrenalin activity guaranteed to get the blood flowing and heart pumping. This must try activity is the fastest growing adventure sport in the United Kingdom with Wales being one of the prime locations.
FKS - Kite Surfing School - FKS provides a variety of kite surfing courses, for both beginners and improvers, from their base in Rhosneigr.

Porth Daniel Watersports Centre, Menai Bridge - A range of RYA courses, including powerboat, jet ski and water skiing are available as well as RIB and kayak hire.
RIB Menai - Although you have to go off the island, to their base at Victoria Dock in Caernarfon, a RIB (rigid inflatable boat) ride along the Menai Strait or around the coast of Anglesey, is a great and exhilarating way to see the island.
Starida Sea Services - Rising out of the sea of the east coast is Puffin Island - inhabited by a few puffins and plenty of seals. Starida run summer cruises from Beaumaris pier round the island or along the Menai Strait.
