Pat “We had a few problems with a broken dishwasher, which was eventually replaced and fitted the day before we left !”
This is the fourth holiday rental we have taken this year and the first where we have had to supply our own linen. This meant, however, that I was able to see the mattress protector which looked grubby and was of poor quality. I felt it needed washing, which I did before being able to make up the bed. Not what I needed after along drive. There was also a strong nasty smell in the main bedroom .

Diane “Wonderful clean cottage - the views are breathtaking.”
Beautiful balcony with lovely outdoor furniture off the lounge. The kitchen is full of every utensil/cutlery crockery/pans etc you can think. This includes such things as washing up liquid & kitchen roll. Brand new John Lewis washer and a dryer with washing powder. Beds lovely and comfy. Two bits of constructive feedback the shower screen in the en-suite needs renewing and the outdoor furniture/area at the back needs a tidy/jet washing. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
- DianeHi there - thank you so much for your feedback. We genuinely appreciate it. We are so pleased you enjoyed our house. We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive hence leaving certain things to help this feeling. We sorted out the shower screen in the ensuite, replacing all the fittings and seals, so as good as new. Thanks for heads up. We have also given the back patio a sort out - it is newly pointed as at mid-July, so all good to go. We hope to welcome you back again next year. Please ask about return guest discounts. Many thanks Property Owner
Angelina “Really lovely and confortable property.”
Kitchen is well equipped, and the rooms are well appointed. Brilliant location, short walk down to the beach and the golf club. Great view from the balcony, which is also very well appointed. Lovely additional garden at the back with seating area. Good parking too. We would book this property again.
- AngelinaHi, and thank you for your feedback. We think our house is in a great spot - close to Abersoch, but on the quiet side so you can also have some peace. I particularly enjoy my golf as well, so handy for the 3rd tee - make sure you pay your green fee though!!! We hope to see you back again soon, so don't forget to ask about our return guest discounts. Many thanks again for staying Property Owner
Kathryn “Clean but the toilet flush kept getting stuck on.”
.. annoying. Plumber did not arrive to fix it. No linen for beds even though we asked Sykes and were told linen was supplied. House very musty, not pleasant to walk into and live with. Very well equipped kitchen
- KathrynThank you for your feedback. As you say, we keep our property very clean, so thank you for commenting on that. We can understand it was frustrating about the toilet, especially when the plumber did not arrive. We are reliant on our management agent to have suitable trades on hand to resolve such issues, but it sounds as though this was not as expedient as we would hope for. In terms of Linen, our advert does state no Linen, so there was obviously some confusion with our management agent. We are looking to include for the new season. We do have our house professionally cleaned after every guest, so were surprised to read your comment about it being clean, but then reading it is musty. We have had no other comments about this, and on our visits to check the property between changeover, have never had a musty smell. We obviously take the feedback seriously, so did investigate, but with no musty smell, it is hard to trace what may have been the cause. However, we did check the whole house, including a local neighbour to check, but there was no evidence of any musty smell. Very strange. We always want our guests to feel at home, so we believe a fully equipped kitchen is important. This extends to things such as a coffee machine and hand blender, as well as all the crockery you would ever need! We hope you look to re-book to see for yourself how we look after it and note that it is not musty. Property Owner

About the location
ABERSOCH
Pwllheli 6 miles.
The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
Note: The gardens are not enclosed.
Note: There is a right of way path to the neighbouring properties.
Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £200 on this house.
