Built in the 1960s, Aber Wharf has been refurbished to offer luxurious comfort with a modern retro style. Its first-floor living space makes the most of the stunning views over the estuary towards the mountains, and the open plan layout makes this a very sociable house to holiday in.

From the sitting room, a large sliding door opens onto a small balcony overlooking the estuary. Peaceful and relaxing, it has seats for you to enjoy a glass of wine while you soak up the view at the end of a busy day exploring. A stylish, contemporary bathroom and the finest Egyptian cotton bedlinen add a sense of luxury and elegance.

Aber Wharf has its own parking, so you can leave your car and explore the area by foot if you wish. Porthmadog has everything you will need - a large supermarket for your weekly groceries, a good selection of quirky shops, restaurants and cafes, and Kerfoots department store where you'll find things you didn't know you needed, but you just have to have! This is a lovely house in a gated community in the heart of Porthmadog. A great holiday home!

Upstairs is a lovely, spacious and comfortable open plan living space combining kitchen, dining area and sitting room. An angled sofa allows you to take in the spectacular sea views, and there is a flat screen TV with FreeSat, a DVD player, and an iPod docking station. Wi-Fi is available. A single large sliding door opens out onto the balcony. The well-equipped kitchen has all you could need - dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, hob, oven and extractor.

Two bedrooms on the ground floor: one double and one with twin single beds. Deliciously squishy feather-filled duvets and pillows will ensure a good night's sleep!

Sitting between the bedrooms, the family bathroom is stylish and contemporary, with a toilet, wash hand basin and bath with shower over and glass shower screen.

Porthmadog has so many attractions close by! Hop on the Ffestiniog steam railway and visit the slate mines at Llechwedd, or take a Sherpa bus to the foot of Snowdon, going through the pretty village of Beddgelert. Learn to wakeboard in Abersoch, go pony trekking, or discover the wonderful beaches at Black Rock Sands and the pretty coves at Borth y Gest.

This property is not suitable for children under seven years of age, due to the balcony.
