From the back of the house, you can walk for miles and miles through the most beautiful woodland with cascading waterfalls and the famous Clogau gold mine.
If you can tear yourself away from this delightful rural retreat, 10 minutes' drive will take you into the popular seaside town of Barmouth, where time seems to have stopped and you can still see donkeys on the beach. A permanent seaside fairground and a great selection of shops, cafes and pubs make this a wonderful place to visit. Dolgellau, a pretty market town, is just four miles away and has plenty of restaurants. Another place to visit if you are looking for good pub food and a famous Welsh welcome is the fantastic Mawddach Bar, just a few miles away. The local cycling facilities are great, with the Coed y Brenin forest and cycle centre close by and the Dolgellau to Barmouth Mawddach cycle path just two miles away.

Tub chairs are positioned by the French windows, looking out towards the mountains and estuary. A further three bedrooms - two king size doubles and a twin room - have luxurious bed linen and pretty fabrics.
Main bathroom with bath, loo and wash hand basin. The first double bedroom has an en suite with shower, wash hand basin and loo, and under-floor heating. The twin room has a wonderful waterfall tap over a little sink.
At the back of the house, higgledy-piggledy steps lead up to a pretty country garden with a pond, a summer house with furniture - and, of course, the woods!
