As well as a wealth of beautiful cycling routes, you’ll find plenty of local hire centres where you can find everything you could possibly need to explore Anglesey, Snowdonia and the Lleyn on two wheels.

Anglesey: Cybi Bikes

Based in Holyhead, Cybi Bikes has seven bike hubs across the island where you can hire and return your bikes. They offer a good range of adult and children's hybrid bikes as well as a free repair kit, pump and hi-vis vest for the hire period. Snowdonia: Menai Cycles

From their main shop based next to the majestic Caernarfon Castle, Menai Cycles is ideally placed for some right royal fun on the Lôn Eifion and Lôn Menai cycle routes. Lleyn: Llŷn Cycle Hire

You’ll find Llŷn Cycle Hire in the beautiful seaside village of Aberdaron, at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula. Beddgelert Bikes

Beddgelert Bikes is a mountain bike specialist based at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. They hire adult, junior and children’s mountain bikes, as well as tandems and tag-alongs. Bike hire includes cycle helmet as well as route map, trail tools, puncture repair kit and pump. The hire centre is close to the Welsh Highland Railway station in the beautiful mountain village of Beddgelert. You’ll find it within easy reach of numerous trails in the nearby forest.

Snowdonia: Beics Betws

Beics Betws has been operating from their Betws y Coed bike centre for more than twenty years. The area around the village is home to three famously challenging mountain bike trails - 25km Marin Route, the 11km Penmachno Dolen Eryri Route and the 19km Penmachno Dolen Machno Route. For less experienced riders there is the Llyn Elsi Ride - a 10km forest ride up to the reservoir above the village. Alternatively, cyclists can enjoy the scenic lanes and back roads that surround Betws. Tourers, trekkers and mountain bikes for hire, price includes helmet, map and toolkit.

Snowdonia: Beics Brenin

You’ll find Beics Brenin in the Coed y Brenin Visitor’s Centre in Dolgellau – the gateway to the Coed y Brenin Forest Park. It’s the UK’s first dedicated mountain bike trail centre and home to some of the UK’s best forest cycling with trails for every age and ability. Beics Brenin have a wide range of mountain and trail bikes to hire, as well as some adaptive bikes (for accredited riders only). Hire price includes cycle helmet. Snowdonia: Llanberis Bike Hire

Llanberis bike hire has been running since 2009 - providing bike hire from Llanberis - the village at the foot of Snowdon, North Wales. While most of their bikes are hard tail mountain bikes, they also have a number of full-suspension bikes, children's ikes, tag alongs and a bike trailer. They offer full day, half day and evening hire and can provide a delivery and pick up service. Included in the hire are cycle helmet, repair kit and suggested route and OS maps. They operate out of Tan y Ddraig Pottery Cafe on the High Street.
