Organising a weekend away for a group of people when you are not familiar with the area can be difficult.

At Menai Holiday Cottages we can help you find the right accommodation - whether you want a rural retreat or a seaside party house!  We can also help with catering, arranging activities, from in-house beauticians to gorge scrambling, and putting an itinerary together.  Have home-cooked meals delivered directly to your property or allow us to arrange an in-house chef.

  • Coasteering - A wild combination of scrambling, rock climbing, sea level traversing, jumping and swimming! Explore the wild and beautiful Anglesey coast with an experienced guide.

  • Gorge Scrambling - A wet and wild adventure in the rocky terrain of a mountain gorge. You'll find yourself jumping across boulders, climbing waterfalls, crossing pools, traversing along rock walls and negotiating obstacles. A wet and wild adventure is guaranteed!

  • Surfing - Rhosneigr's beach and surrounding coves are perfect for beginners as well as the more accomplished.

  • White water rafting - Explore the rivers of Snowdonia and get extremely wet!

  • Mountain Biking (Guiding and/or tuition) - Snowdonia is a mountain biking Mecca! We can offer both guiding and tuition - so no experience is required. Bike and helmet hire can also be arranged.

  • Guided Walks - Let an experienced guide lead your walk in Snowdonia or along the Anglesey or Lleyn Coastal Paths.

  • Navigation Skills - Have the confidence to go walking in the countryside, whatever the weather and visibility. Learn how to use a map and compass properly.

  • RIB Boat Rides - Exhilarating power-boat rides along the Menai Straits and around Anglesey. Why not stop for a picnic on one of the Island's many beaches?

  • Golf - North Wales is home to over 60 golf courses. We have some of the finest links and parkland courses in the country, from world-class championship courses like Royal St David's and Conwy to some hidden gems all set against the wonderful backdrop of our mountains and coastline.

  • Sea kayaking - Explore Anglesey's rugged coastline - one of the top sea kayaking destinations in the UK. No experience required - highly skilled guides will teach you everything you need to know and will carefully plan your journey taking into account weather, tides and charts. If you enjoy open spaces, salt air and getting close to nature, you're going to love sea kayaking!

  • Orienteering - Enjoyed by people of all ages and levels of technical & physical ability. A great group activity! Once you have mastered the basic technical skills, you decide whether you want a competitive round or simply an alternative way of enjoying the surrounding countryside and the fabulous views.

  • In-house beautician - For those wanting a more relaxed break! We can arrange for a beautician to come to your property, providing a range of treatments for guests not wanting leave the comfort of their cottage!

  • High-wire Rope Adventures - Perfect for high fliers!! Aerial challenge courses with tight rope walks, balance beams, swings, jumps, platforms and zip-wires - not for the faint-hearted!! Childrens' courses also available.

  • Horse Riding - A great way to be active and enjoy the scenery! Enjoy rides along Anglesey's stunning beaches or trekking through Snowdonia.

  • Clay Pigeon Shooting - We offer clay pigeon shooting in partnership with a local estate on Anglesey which has hosted national and international competitions. Set in 8 acres of picturesque countryside, tuition is available to assist both beginners and the more advanced. Pheasant shooting is also available from mid-October through to the end of January.
