Enjoy great local produce

Butcher, Baker and Candlestick Maker

Well....maybe not the candlestick maker, but when we thought about the range of produce available locally, there isn't much you can't buy!

North Wales is laden with wonderful food producers. You can buy direct from the producer - on the quay or beach, or from an ‘honesty box' shop at the end of a farm drive; or find everything under one roof at a farmers' market or food festival which are held throughout the year.

Local Producers

A quick chat round the office over some of Barbara’s Bara Brith (available from our Cottage Suppers menu!), and we soon found that we all have our own local food hero.

Food Festivals

From the Conwy Feast to the Anglesey Oyster Festival – food festivals are bursting with great local produce as well as local crafts. Perfect for picking up unique gifts or something a little different for supper.

Farmers' Markets

The very popular farmers’ markets are held throughout the area – a great way to see the wide selection of produce and the chance to speak directly to the producer. Here you will get to feel and understand the heart of Welsh farming as well as helping the rural economy and the environment.
