Sandsculpture Competition, Whistling Sands/Porth Oer

Try your hand at this family competition. Fun for all with prizes in a range of categories. Don't forget your bucket and spade!

Porth Oer, otherwise known as Whistling Sands, is a beautiful beach managed by the National Trust on the north coast of the Lleyn Peninsula. The grains of sand here are such a size and consistency that they squeak when you walk on them - hence the 'whistling'.
